Emergency Contact
Numbers
Some parents have commented that they have occasionally
had difficulty getting a response from the Pre-School mobile phone. Please
remember that this phone is only switched on during the session. However, the signal at St Laurence Hall is
not great and there are times when it can drop out altogether. In order to
ensure that parents can always contact Pre-School we have switched on the
voicemail on the mobile so that it will be possible to leave a message, for
example, if you wish to warn staff that you may be late in collecting your
child or to inform them that you have made alternative arrangements for
collection. If you do have to leave a message that relates to the security of
your child, please leave a contact number so that staff can phone you back to
confirm they have received your message. Please do not assume it has been
received until your hear back from Pre-School. If, in an emergency situation,
you need to speak to somebody immediately, Michelle and Nikki have kindly made
their personal mobile phone numbers available. Please see the attached sheet
for details.
Lunch club
We only have sufficient numbers to run lunch club on a
Friday next term, from 11:45am to 12:45pm. Apologies if this day is not one you
requested; we will send out another questionnaire before Easter to see if we have
enough interest to be able to run lunch club on an additional day for terms
five and six.
Emergency medical slip
Please could you fill in and return the attached slip to
give Pre-School permission to seek emergency medical treatment or advice for
your child in the event of not being able to contact you. Dont worry this is
a new OFSTED recommendation and has not been prompted by any incident at
Pre-School!
Illness
It would be a great help if you could phone Pre-School,
ideally before or around the start of the session, to let staff know if your
child will be off sick.
